anyone interested in making a team based around the sas

so far

and a few others

so the usual dpm set up with m4s m16s g36s 249s stuff like that

yeah but there preferred weapons are along those lines :P. Policeyounggun wht are u talkin about m5s :S where a woodland based team :P

no the sas use mainly diamenco C8s which is the canadian heavy barreled version of the m4. many operators prefer this to other guns since they have the modurability of the m4 the ability to but down light fire support and also when the stocks collapsed they can still shoulder it this is why it was picked over the g36 but some operators supposingly still use them

oh and the sas have phased out the mp5 it is only used in vip protection in conjuntion with short barreled c8s and mp5ks

actually it did say as of a few months ago the sas give up the mp5 as there primary cqb weapon for the c8 cqb.

The MP5 hasn't been phased out they just don't use it for Close protection as the C8 CQB is a better weapon for the task. They do still use it for Counter Terrorist/Hostage Rescue work as due to the 5.56 bullet the C8 uses the MP5 is the more suitable weapon for that task.

basicly raked that site of info :P its just i got told on a big zeroin thread and all the info seemed to come from reliable sources. yeah its also now called task force 22
